We offer activities everyday of the week!

The program rotates on the monthly basis – and each week looks something like this:

Sunday am: Horse rides or Hikes

Monday pm: A visiting tour of our NGO projects for children and Chispa de Vida’s therapy program followed by pizza making. A walk through one of our nature reserves with a guide to show you the local flora and fauna, or a traditional cooking class. Activities rotate every week

Tuesday pm: Trips out to El Chocoyero Nature Reserve, the Masaya markets or Masaya artisans and museums, a pineapple farm, or a presentation from Paulette on the history of La Mariposa. Activities rotate every week

Wednesday pm: Every Wednesday we take you to Laguna de Apoyo, as it is the perfect place to relax, swim, kayak and even do Spanish homework!

Thursday pm: Trips to Masaya fortress, museum and volcano or artisans, to Managua museums and dinner on the town, or visits to the potters and stone masons of San Jan del Oriente, the sweets makers in Masatepe, and a scenic stop at the vista of Catarina. Activities rotate every week

Friday pm: A presentation on the history of Nicaragua followed by salsa class

Saturday: All day guided excursions to Granada, La Boquita, Leon, or Mombacho. Locations rotate every week
